Guided Nevada Mule Deer Hunts

Guided Nevada Mule Deer Hunts

A Nevada mule deer tag can take years to draw. When you finally have one, you want to know you're hunting with a team that's ready to make every day count. At 6D Outfitters, we're licensed to guide mule deer hunters statewide in Nevada and hold a statewide BLM Special Use Permit, giving us access to an incredible amount of diverse hunting country.

What to Expect

What to Expect

Our preparation starts months before your hunt. Throughout the summer, we spend countless hours scouting, glassing, and exploring new country in search of mature bucks and learning where the deer are before you arrive. Our hunts are primarily spot-and-stalk, using quality optics to cover everything from open desert and valley floors to rugged mountain country above 10,000 feet.

Every hunter and every hunt is different, so we tailor the experience around your physical ability, goals, and expectations. Whether you're after a mature Nevada buck or simply want to make the most of a hard-earned tag, we'll put in the work to give you the best opportunity possible.

Nevada Mule Deer Guide Draw

Nevada is unique when it comes to allotting Mule Deer tags to the non-resident Mule Deer hunter. Every year a percentage of Mule Deer tags are set aside from the non-resident hunting pool, for those hunters who want to specifically hunt with a licensed outfitter. This "Restricted Outfitters" draw takes place in mid-March with applications being submitted in late January through the first of March.

These tags are for Any Legal Weapon Season only and you cannot apply in the general draw for mule deer if you are unsuccessful in the guide draw.

However, you can utilize the First Come First Serve process and buy a potential returned tag. Ask us for details.

The guide's draw is only open to non-residents who wish to apply with an Outfitter of their choice. The number of hunters applying for these tags is drastically smaller than the regular draw and the applicant can expect their chances of drawing to double or even triple depending on the hunts selected. When applying for the guide draw, we will personally work with you to figure out the best strategy looking at your bonus points, expectations, scheduling and the kind of experience you’re looking for.

If you are interested in applying for the guide draw with us or have questions about units or application strategies, please contact us so we can build a tailored program for you!
